A Trip to the Zoo

Download PDF Yesterday, I went to the zoo with my family. We arrived early to see the animals before it got too hot. The first animals we saw were the monkeys. They were very active, swinging from tree to tree. Next, we visited the lions. They were sleeping in the shade, looking very peaceful. After that, we went to the reptile house. I was fascinated by the snakes and lizards. My little sister was scared of them, but I found them interesting. We also enjoyed watching the penguins swim. They were so playful and seemed to enjoy the water. For lunch, we had hot dogs and ice cream. We spent the whole day at the zoo, taking photos and learning about different animals. By the time we left, my feet were tired, but I felt happy after such a fun day.
